Amethyst Runeworks adds automation to a Minecraft server using blocks that are already in the game. Build a machine, put its supplies in the chest, connect power if you want, and switch its lever on. The machines are part of the world, so you can see them working.
Resonance is the plugin's energy. A glass gauge shows how much a machine has stored. Most machines can burn fuel from their input chest, or receive resonance from an amethyst connection. A generator turns fuel into resonance for a network. A battery stores the extra.
Install the JAR on a Minecraft Java 26.3 server running Java 25. Paper 26.3 and CraftBukkit 26.3 are the tested server targets. Join and run /arw guide to open the in-game recipe book.
To get started:
- Find a full amethyst geode and collect its amethyst blocks and crystal clusters. A complete geode should give you enough amethyst for any one machine in this pack; gather its other materials from the build plan. Leave budding amethyst in place so more crystals can grow.
- Build a Crystal Incubator next. It grows crystals you can use for energy connections and item movement. The incubator is optional, but recommended for a steady amethyst supply. Break harvested clusters into shards; four shards craft into an amethyst block.
- Choose another machine from the build plans. The lever is always at the front, the input chest is on the left when present, and the output barrel is on the right when present.
- Add the tool and supplies shown on its page. Put fuel in the chest or connect it to a generator. Turn the lever on.
- If it does not work, look at the controller amethyst and run
/arw inspect. It tells you what the machine is waiting for.
Recent beta features
Since beta.10, energy and item links work in any direction, and containers can use direct crystal ports. Since beta.12, the quarry has an optional mining animation. Use /arw version to check which features your server has.
