Crystal Incubator

Crystal Incubator in Minecraft

Grows visible amethyst crystals in a glass chamber. The nine growth cells advance at different times, so the chamber does not grow in a neat row. A full crystal is harvested into the barrel and starts again.

  • Input: water buckets and resonance. Water buckets go in the chest and return empty buckets.
  • Output: amethyst clusters in the barrel.
  • Use: 5 resonance and 2 water for a growth step. One water bucket adds 100 water.
  • Important: the chamber floor is 5×5 amethyst. The inner 3×3 is open at first. Glass walls are two blocks high, with a complete glass roof one block above them. Keep the growth cells clear. The front glass above the controller is the gauge.

Counts cover the WorldEdit schematic. Check the guide for external wiring and supplies.

The rear-center floor amethyst can take an energy crystal. An extra amethyst block outside the rear wall can make a taller connection point.
