Fluid Pump

Fluid Pump in Minecraft

Fills empty buckets from water, lava, or a full lava cauldron. The green outline is above the actual extraction level: the pump removes a source one block below the displayed area. A full lava cauldron becomes an empty cauldron so a dripstone setup can refill it.

  • Input: empty buckets, optional range redstone, and fuel in the chest.
  • Output: water or lava buckets in the barrel.
  • Use: 5 resonance per filled bucket; at most one extraction every two seconds by default.
  • Range: 3×3 by default; redstone dust expands it up to 17×17. The three pistons move one after another on successful extraction.
